For little downtime and no surgery, this is a nice cost-effective way to go. Depending on your area of concern will determine if you will need one syringe or more.
Microneedling Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure used for acne scars, scar revision, and skin tightening. It can increase the collagen in the skin and produce significant healing of acne scars and scar tissue. It can also be used in healthy adults to stimulate collagen formation and skin tightening to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and skin aging. It can be combined with or without platelet rich plasma (PRP) to enhance results. We use the FDA approved system called the SkinPen, which forms microchannels in the skin that trigger a healing response. This healing response then triggers our bodies normal healing process to form collagen and remodel the skin. The procedure has minimal downtime and is very tolerable with topical numbing cream. The average patient requires 2 to 4 treatments done once monthly to achieve the desired results.
PRP for Hair Loss Using your own blood, this treatment can potentially improve hair restoration. PRP can be done alone or with other cosmetic treatments to amplify results.
Earlobe Repair Earlobes over time can become stretched or deformed and may need to be surgically revised. An earlobe repair is a simple outpatient procedure done here in our office under local anesthetic. The ear is revised and then stitched together to reform the ear lobe. This minor surgery only takes about 15 minutes to perform and healing is very rapid over a period of two weeks. Most patients can resume their normal activity right after the procedure. This cosmetic procedure is not covered by insurance. Consult with your dermatologist if this procedure is right for you.
